Clay Goodier - President, Homebuilding

Clay helped found Goodier in 2009, after having started his career working in Land Acquisition for Pulte Homes. At Pulte Homes, he was responsible for acquiring land in Baltimore, Harford, Carroll, Howard, and Cecil Counties, as well as Baltimore City. He spent three years prior to forming Goodier as an Acquisition Analyst with Alex. Brown Realty, Inc. in Baltimore, MD, where he was responsible for placing joint venture private equity in real estate transactions around the nation. Transactions ranged from $5 million to $25 million and included residential, multifamily, commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality and distressed debt assets. Clay was honored as a “35 Under 35″ award recipient presented by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which spotlights 35 top professionals under the age of 35. He is involved with charitable activities, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the William S. Baer School. Clay has a Master of Science in Real Estate degree from Johns Hopkins and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from Vanderbilt University.

Dan Goodier - President, Commercial

Dan joined Goodier to run its commercial business unit. Dan has been working in commercial real estate in Atlanta since his graduation from Vanderbilt University in 2005. He began his career with Jones Lang LaSalle serving as a financial analyst and junior broker in their Tenant Representation and Agency Leasing groups. While at Jones Lang LaSalle, Dan helped to service the real estate needs of clients such as Sprint, Microsoft, and Blue Cross Blue Shield throughout the Southeastern United States and parts of Latin America. Most recently, Dan was a member of the acquisitions staff at Wells Real Estate Funds. At Wells, Dan was part of a two person team that sourced, analyzed, and executed over $825 million of real estate acquisitions in the northeastern United States during his four year tenure. Dan is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designee, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Georgia. He is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, and the CCIM Institute. Dan has a Master of Science in Real Estate Development degree from Columbia University and is currently pursuing his Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Dan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with degrees in Economics and Spanish.

Debby Callahan - Director of Operations

Debby Callahan has a history of over 40 years working in residential construction and land development, and has been an integral part of Goodier Builders since its founding in 1985. Prior to the company’s founding, Debby with worked with Bob Goodier for a decade and is one of three other team members that has been with Goodier Builders since the beginning. Initially, she focused on customer service and overseeing sales and marketing. She has served as Director of Operations, and then in 2006 became Vice President of Goodier Builders, and has been the point person for all aspects of the company throughout the years. With Goodier Baker, Debby focuses on contract management and land development.

Joey started his construction career with Bob Goodier at MP of Maryland in 1979, and joined Goodier Builders from the company’s inception in 1985. Joey has lost count of how many homes he has built over the past 34 years. He appreciates the quality and workmanship in every home he builds, as that has been a signature of every home he has built. Joey lives in Windsor Mill and enjoys traveling through the Baltimore and DC metro areas to manage the construction activities in Goodier Baker custom homes.

Jeannine Ducey – Administrative Assistant

Jeannine is a graduate of UMBC with a BA degree in Industrial Psychology/Personnel Management with certificates in both Administrative Sciences and MBA Preparatory Studies.   Her early career includes 20 years in the health care field, with concentration in human resources before transitioning into both pharmaceutical and medical sales.  After a hiatus to concentrate on home and family, Jeannine returned to the work force in the capacity of licensed settlement agent – a role that fulfilled her need to serve customers and which ultimately led her seven years ago to Goodier Builders. Jeannine also volunteers seasonally as an IRS certified tax preparer, and holds a long-term position as treasurer of a condominium association.  She lives in Eldersburg with her family.

 

Bob Goodier – of Counsel

Bob Goodier has been a builder/developer for over 30 years, having completed over 1,300 homes in a variety of Maryland areas, including Columbia, Baltimore County, Prince Georges County and Frederick County. As a Land Developer his communities include Walnut Grove, Walnut Creek and Meriwether in Howard County and The Heritage in Calvert County. In addition to numerous past recognition, Bob has also won the 2012 Lifetime Achievement award from HBAM recognizing his contributions to the industry and to the HBAM in particular. In 2011 Bob was awarded Developer of the Year by the Homebuilders Association of Maryland for “design and planning sensitive to surrounding properties, nature and the environment.” The 2011 President of the Home Builders Association of Maryland, Bob has also served as President of Certified Master Builders and President of the Board of Governors of Baltimore Country Club. Other community involvement includes Hospice of Howard County, Voices for Children and serving on the Real Estate Committee of East Baltimore Development Inc.(EBDI) Bob and his wife, Isabel, have been married for over 35 years and reside in Baltimore County.
