The Goodier Men – Clay, Bob & Dan – 1985

Clay and Dan Goodier both learned the real estate business from their father, Bob Goodier, the founder and president of Goodier Builders. Through working for their father’s company for a number of years, they learned the ins and outs of the residential development and homebuilding industry. Goodier Builders has a longstanding reputation for building high-quality homes, offering superior customer service, and operating with integrity and character. These traditions, established by Bob Goodier and integral to the success of Goodier Builders, serve as the foundation upon which Goodier Builders operates. Clay Goodier has a background in residential land acquisition and development along with experience in joint venture equity placement in all forms of real estate transactions. Dan Goodier has a history of commercial asset acquisition along with client representation in commercial real estate.

Bob Goodier, the founder of Goodier Builders, has been a builder/developer in Maryland for over 30 years.  Bob was the President of the Home Builders Association of Maryland in 2011.  Goodier Builders has built over 1,300 homes in a variety of Maryland areas, including Howard County, Baltimore County, Prince Georges County and Frederick County.  As a land developer, Goodier Builders’ communities include Walnut Grove, Walnut Creek and Meriwether in Howard County and The Heritage in Calvert County. In addition to numerous past recognitions, in 2011 Bob was awarded Developer of the Year by the Homebuilders Association of Maryland for “design and planning sensitive to surrounding properties, nature and the environment.”
